I love that you talked about menopause at in a 2018 Con in Florida (saw it on YouTube) and said no one talks about it. It's true too. They talk about everything else but that, because when you can't have children anymore... meh. Thank you! Thank you for talking about and mentioning the crap (to put it nicely) about Primeron (which I can't spell, please forgive me). Let's not even talk about the rest of the BS related to being fertile in the states.
I knew nothing going into peri-menopause when I was in my late thirties and entered post menopause when I was 45. Now I'm really close to sixty and I'm still screaming, "Moisturize me!" (Sorry, had to throw in a Dr. Who line, but you get it) I never had the hot flashes, but I did go through it a little early and didn't have a memory, mood swings galore, and other wacky things went on with my body. I was a basket case mentally and physically. Still am mentally. lol My memory did come back... sort of, after I became post menopause. I only remember what is important to me now. If it's not important [to me] then I don't remember it. My thyroid also went defunct at the same time, but the doctors ignored it until I was post menopause. I could say more about menopause, but I'm so glad I'm not the only one making it their life's mission to talk about it.
Women's issues, including menopause, are VERY important. Sexual harassment is important too, but we also need to talk about women's health too. We hear more about E.D. and crooked carrots (a U.S. TV ad), than we do menopause. It's messed up and it's the 21st century!
I was watching on YouTube speaking at this convention where you mentioned menopause. And BTW, we are also grateful for you and adore you. Because, and I said something similar to Gates, if you had not made S.T. then we wouldn't have you guys to look up to, as well as use Star Trek to get us through life, and trust me, at 4' 11", I probably literally look up to you just as I did Gates and Michelle. (Please laugh at my short joke, because I am short and can make them.) There's your smile for the day. Hope it's a good day for you.
(Not like what?)
