If a person does not donate blood, please don‘t make a judgement about that person. There are many medical or other reasons that preclude a person from being able to donate - reasons that are nobody else’s business. I once had to listen to a co-worker make comments about someone in our office who didn’t participate in the office blood drive. When I mentioned that it could be a medical reason her response was “she looks fine to me.” Of course, not every illness is visible but too many people have the opinion that if they can’t see it then it’s not really there.

I feel sorry that his kids will not be able to know their cousins, uncle, aunt, grandfather and other relatives. I don't care who those relatives are. Family is family.
