I don't know if any of you know this. But Malcolm X was assassinated today in 1965. Anyone old enough to remember that?
Yeah, but you know I much better liked MLK. Because I think moderates are uniters rather than divides. And that way they get more done. Some people think that I am not very moderate, though maybe less so now, as I said. But first and foremost I think I am a pragmatist. And I think it works very well for me.
Speaking of MLK, did anyone notice what a handsome guy he was? It's so wonderful when someone is so beautiful on the inside and out. Actually though, the reason why I say that is because I never hear people say that. I was wondering if people even thought of him that way. Because people mainly just talk about what he accomplished.
Yeah, MLK, Bobby Kennedy and possibly someone else, were assassinated the month I was born, June 1968. My mother was reportedly going to name me Bobby. But she thought it'd be too sad. And that the kids would make fun of that name. BTW I couldn't have possibly had a better mother. She died in 1996. And in many ways I still don't think I fully got over it. I'm all right. But sometimes that's the way I feel.
I learned a little bit about MLK in school, but not much about Malcolm X. I do remember hearing later in life, that Malcolm was more "in your face" when it came to racism, while Martin held peaceful co-existence in a higher regard.
I'm still trying to figure what people thought was wrong with X. The guy had compassion. And insight.
In the evenings, I often enjoy browsing the Internet for intriguing content, and one evening, I decided to delve into the world of gambling. My search led me to https://howei.com/forum/discussion/general-chat/metropolitan-smiles, which was rich in valuable information. The site offered a comprehensive overview of Indian casinos, highlighting their bonuses and promotional offers. The diversity of games and their cultural uniqueness captivated me. This resource served as an excellent guide into the deeper realms of gambling and proved to be an invaluable source of information.
