Trigger Warning for mentions of sexual assault:
I flew Frontier Airlines yesterday. They have really cheap fairs (I'm talking starting at $19 USD) so I went to visit my dad for a long weekend. Anyway, I'm seated next to a window and there's this guy seated next to me. I immediately sense that there is something off about him (trust your instincts people; you have them for a reason). So he reaches for his seatbelt and starts touching me. I push him away and tell him to stop. He goes "Oops sorry. Just trying to reach for my seat belt. He then goes to grab his bag from under his seat and, as he comes back up, he 'accidentally' brushes against me numerous times. The flight attendant did move him to the aisle seat so there was an empty seat between us. But that didn't stop the leering and thr lewed comments. Guy even had the nerve to tell me that he's a hardcore Trekkie since TOS and how he wouldn't be shamed for this in the Trek universe/future. He also called himself the real life Spock as he leaned over towards me. Like what?? Were we watching the same Star Trek? And where in Trek do they even hint at groping and SA women as being acceptable? This was such an uncomfortable 2 1/2 hours for me. I'm okay, but the wat Frontier downplays this sort of thing is just unacceptable.
I know this sort of thing can happen on any airline, but it apparently is commonplace on Frontier. Also, I allost had my plane diverted on the way down due to a passenger threatening a flight attendant. But that's another story for another time. @Marina I don't know what airline you are flying when you come to Raleigh. But if you are transferring in the US, make sure you're not on Frontier Airlines. I just want you to be safe, ok? And that goes for the rest of tou as well. I just got a customer satisfaction survey emailed to me today. You better believe that I'm filling it out and I'm not going to hold back either. I am also boycotting Frontier. I hope you all can support me in this and boycott them as well in the name of women and sexual assault victims everywhere.
To my knowledge Marina doesn’t fly Frontier.
He’s lucky it wasn’t me. He would never „accidentally” touch a woman again.
