You are assuming that is some thing I want to do.It absolutely is not! No one can be honest about their opinions anymore for fear of being canceled so I would rather not engage.
Quite true and in some respects, the fact no one can judge you online by looks once appealed to me, until people found other ways to descriminate and bully people.
It is so sad that people get cancled for just an opinion. I would much rather ask the person what they meant when the wrote/said than just cancle them.
I'm seriously annoyed at the unmitigated gall of this one. Imposing their will on your life isn't something anyone should bother to do when they don't even know you. Social media has made audacity very cheap and accountability very expensive 😤.
I left Twit (now called lame a$$ X) too when what's his name bought it (Elon Musk or Lone Smuk). I didn't want to stick around for him to let the Reich Wing loose on us liberals.
Marina left because Twitter was becoming such a hostil enviornment. It doesn´t matter what you think/feel/say/or write someone is gonna bully you. Sad. No one can have an opinion and not be attacked. It´s just a persons opinion no need to be such bullies you know. Geez!!!! Besides, it´s marina´s decsion wether she leaves or staays on twitter and we should all respect her descion.
Seen this happen personally with Laura Branigan. Wound up meeting her manager because of it. Sadly, shorty after I met her manager we lost Laura so I never got to interact with Laura myself 😥
Yes, writing letters is wonderful. I work in archives (archive and history is also a hobby to me) and I have seen many letter collections. Postcards, love letters, friendship letters. The conversations were intense. They gave intention to their massage and in that way also to the person who they wrote too. Sometimes they gave extra intention to it with a dried flower in the letter or a feather. But you see almost all the letter collections are from 20th centery and earlier. I wish we had it more in this time too and indeed also interactive face to face contact. You are right, in some way internet is wonderful but indeed it is so sad it crippled huminity (I am sorry for my not 100 procent good English, maybe I am using the wrong words sometimes).
No worries. Your English is excellent. I love writing letters. As a kid, I had a calligraphy letter set from Barnes and noble (it even had a quil pen and seal maker). I love writing or really making anything by hand (drawing, cooking, etc). I love that I can stay in touch with people all over the world. But the internet should be a tool for social interaction, not a crutch.
Marina owes you nothing. You wanted her to stay on Twitter for your own sake. Maybe we all did, but WE understand that she left because she thought of her own needs first. Try that.

Do I care what you think? Not really. It was people like you that made me leave Twitter in the first place. Thanks for confirming my decision.

FFS, shut up! You do realize the fact that you came on here to spew hate, says more about you than it does about Marina, right?
what if someone wants to interact with the world on his own terms? ;)
