According to Shakespeare at least, even most wicked, or "vilest", deed Cleopatra could ever do, would still look good on, or "become" her.
In this picture, she has herself rolled in a rug, and brought as a gift to Julius Caesar, because she can't gain access to him.

Also the reason why people often cite the carpet story is because although Cleopatra may have not been attractive, she was still alluring. And she was a very unique individual.
BTW I was thinking. Maybe this and some of my other thread could be combined with the Random Thoughts one. Just a thought.
