Suggestions

Let’s hold off a bit. I want to see what Marina has to say and what she thinks without being overwhelmed by suggestions. It is her site after all. So what she says goes. I love all of your thought, but I don’t want her to feel like we’re trying to take over or anything like that. Just that we’re here to help if she wants it.

Not what i was trying to imply by offering new thread suggestions. At all. Just generally curious if threads like that migh be interested in.

As for your rules i was just agreeing that to me it sounds good. I would never do something like that without marina agreeing

I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound harsh. I just don’t want Marina to come on here and suddenly be bombarded by suggestions. That’s the only reason I said it. I feel like we have a good amount in this thread for when she does log back on. But if you feel there is something she needs to know than by all means add it.

That was me! Yeah, it got burried. And what your suggesting here is exactly what I was thinking. This site is like a free for all. I’m not blaming Marina one bit. I know she’s busy and doesn’t have the time to be sorting through things or moderating. But it’s like some people post a new thread every time a thought pops into their head. Like it an online blog or diary. And I get needing to vent about things sometimes. I did that recently with losing my dog. But this site is so disorganized. I even created a random thoughts thread so people would have a place to brain dump, if they needed to, but that just got buried and ignored. I’m thinking about leaving if things don’t improve. Again, absolutely nothing to do with Marina. She’s amazing. In fact, I love that she was kind and thoughtful enough to create this forum for us and I would love to help her out however I can (if she’s willing to have me help). But if this chaos continues, I’m going to delete my account and maybe join a fan group somewhere else.

Sometimes it’s a little confusing but I keep my view on ”all posts” and most recent activity. Even if I miss something, I’m still thankful that Marina offered to restart her forum to keep some line of communication open with fans. She’s had a forum before that was closed,…. twice TMK. Regardless of the format, this will be the only place to interact with Marina.

The thing is that unfortunatelly people very often don't read any rules before writing anything or don't scroll looking for a specific topic, where they could write what they want. They just create a new one and that's it.

True. That’s why we need to have mods to gently remind people.
