The effect of global climate change is that our figs are already ripe. When the fruit is ripe, it reaches the size of an average pear. I recently painted my basement. Every summer there were mosquitoes on the walls and ceiling of the cellar. This is the first year I haven't found a single mosquito even though it's a rainy summer here. These are worrying signs for me.
