This is a thread to share your Easter plans (Catholic and/or Orthodox), post pic, wish Marina a Happy Easter on the 16th of this month (if you choose to do so). Happy Easter. Καλό Πάσχα.
Happy Easter! I went to see my aunt in the hospital. She’s my favorite person & I just want her to get well. Both she & my mom are sick & it’s tough because I have to fight my own health battles, but as long as they’re here, I’ll give them what they need.
I went to church this morning but I do that every Sunday.
So the tradition in my small town is that on Easter Sunday the kids go from house to house with their parentd and while the kids search the gardes for all the sweets that the Easter bunny hid there, the grown ups get a drink (mostly alcoholic) so while the kids play and eat all the chocolate they can possibly stomach for a day, the parents have their own fun.
I thought in all honesty that this was something all people in germany do.. but apparently its just our small town that takes every reason to get drunk at 10 am in the morning 😉🤣🤣🤣
Other than that there is of course church - either Thursday, saturday or sunday too.
Side note: the missing D has been discussed and my Imzadi said he wasn't sure if this needed an F now.... Anyway I'll be traveling with warp speed in my vehicle now and I'm so lucky as he's good in bed and good at pizza🤭 🤣🤣🤣
Have a great weekend and Marina once the time comes for you have a very happy Easter as well!💛
Thank you very much. I am a Reformed Christian (i.e. Calvinist or Protestant) and we celebrate Easter. The Hungarian tradition is that on Easter Monday the Hungarian boys sprinkle the girls (in the past with water, now with cologne) so that they do not wither.

That’s a very interesting tradition. I’ve always celebrated/observed the ’holy week’ Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. I’m not very religious; I’m agnostic, but I celebrate the Christmas and Easter holidays. We had our memorial service for Megan yesterday, Good Friday. I thought that was the best day to honor her and how much she meant to me.
